Melanie has been a LMT for 10 years. She was born and raised in Dayton and cooked in fine dinning for 20 plus years. She started receiving regular massage 17 years ago for chronic pain in her neck and shoulders, from repetitive motions used in the kitchen and old sports injuries that were never addressed. She would get to the point that she could not even move her neck. Even as a child she never like taking aspirin or any other pill to relive pain or as she likes to say mask the pain. Massage changed the quality of her life so much that she decided to become a LMT, and do the same thing for other people. She is dedicated to helping people achieve their health goals by taking a medical approach to massage. She likes to address the long and short term affects of stress on the body. She will incorporate essential oils in her treatments when appropriate for the client. She has taken a couple of courses on aroma therapy including raindrop therapy.
